McGill University BDS Action Network
passed a BDS resolution at the
undergraduate student union a few days
ago. The motion is now being sent for
ratification online to members of the
union by Feb 26th. Zionist groups are
mobilizing really hard accusing them of
being anti-Semitic and its working. Donors
are threatening to pull funding from the
University over this vote. As well, the
Canadian Parliament (on the same day) </span><span
style="line-height:18px">voted by a wide
margin to condemn the growing BDS
movement, which is garnering new outlets
across the country to report on the
movement in a negative way</span></font><span
style="line-height:21.3px">. The student
movement in Canada working on BDS convened
for a meeting today from across the country,
and we are very concerned about what</span><span
style="line-height:21.3px"> is going on as
it could have implications for the entire
student movement in the country, and perhaps
the movement here more broadly</span></font></div>
