The subject will be "Overcoming the Diffraction Barrier to Resolve Life's Inner Mysteries". The diffraction barrier imposes a physical cutoff on the size of the features that may be resolved with visible light. However, the last decade has witnessed an explosion in "super-resolution" techniques that enable us to use light microscopy to explore a world well beyond the diffraction barrier, imaging cellular structure of only a few nanometers.</div><div><br></div><div>Join us at 7:30 P.M. in Room 408, Physics Bldg., as Prof. Milstein leads us into the microscopic world.</div><div><br></div><div>Ed Morrison</div>                                            </div></body>
