Calling all Allies - Defend SAIA, Tuesday in the York Student Centre

Dear friends,

A press conference and rally will be held in the Student Centre at 11 AM this Tuesday (March 25th) to condemn the York administration's repeated violations of the civil rights of Students Against Israeli Apartheid (SAIA) and its members. Hammam Farah, granted a one-day reprieve from his no-trespass order, will be in attendance.

Other speakers include filmmaker and York faculty member John Greyson; Professor Penni Stewart, Executive Board member of the Canadian Association of University Teachers; Tyler Willis, member of the Advisory Board of the Ontario Civil Liberties Association; Safiyah Husein, Vice-President Equity with the York Federation of Students; Sid Ryan, president of the Ontario Federation of Labour. David McNally, professor of political science, will chair the event.
