[Fdu] Emergency rally to support University of Toronto strikers: Thu, Mar 5 at 9:30 am

CUPE 3902, representing educational workers at the University of Toronto, went on strike last week to secure a contract that promotes the best possible learning conditions for students and fair working conditions for workers.

Your support is needed at a solidarity rally on Thur. Mar. 5 at 9:30 am. Please help spread the word through your networks to help bolster the demand for a fair contract from U of T.

Where: King’s College Gate, University of Toronto Downtown Campus

In refusing to allow government cuts to higher education to be downloaded onto educational workers and students, this union is at the forefront of the fight against austerity and is defending public post-secondary education. A strong show of support at the University of Toronto tomorrow will demonstrate that these strikers are not alone.

Join the Ontario Federation of Labour and student, worker and community supporters in supporting CUPE 3902.
