Solidarity Rally for Striking University Workers: Sat. Mar. 21 at 1:00 pm
Accessible, quality post-secondary education is under attack. Ontario has the highest tuition fees, highest student debt, largest class sizes and the worst per-student funding. Graduate and teaching assistants are fighting against provincial funding shortfalls that are being passed on to university students and workers.
Join a Solidarity Rally for CUPE 3902 (U of T) and 3903 (York U) on Saturday, March 21 at Dundas Square at 1:00 pm, followed by a march to Queen’s Park.
Ask your union or organization to endorse, donate and mobilize for the rally.

Save the Date: Toronto Rally for a $15 minimum wage, April 15
As a movement sweeps American cites for a $15 minimum wage, Ontario has launched a provincial review of Employment Standards and Labour Law. The OFL will be teaming up with SEIU and the Campaign to Raise the Minimum Wage to hold a rally in solidarity with the “Fight for 15” campaign in the U.S.A., while also bringing the demand for elevated employment standards and labour law reform to the doorstep of the Ministry of Labour. Keep your calendar open on April 15 and stay tuned to www.OFL.ca for details.
