[Fdu] Professor Jim Laxer dies unexpectedly in Paris

It is with great sadness that I write to say that Professor Jim Laxer 
passed away unexpectedly in Paris earlier today.

Professor Laxer has been a professor at York since the early 70’s and 
was a renowned scholar, author, and political commentator.

He is mourned by his wife, Sandy Price; four children - Michael, Kate, 
Emily and Jonathan, and four grandchildren – Nathaniel, Julia, Robert 
and Benjamin.

Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
