My name is Anna and I am writing to you from Off-University in Germany
which supports persecuted scholars through hosting their courses on our
online platform.

I wanted to inform you of our upcoming online course “The Social
Structures of Neoliberal Authoritarianism: The Case of Turkey” with Dr.
Cem Özatalay and Dr. Bediz Yılmaz, which is being co-hosted with the New
University in Exile Consortium of the New School for Social Research.

We would be very grateful if you would be able to share this within your
wider networks so more people hear and benefit from our project.

Students will study in an interactive learning environment using
video-lectures, interviews with specialists, documentaries, films and
readings. At the end of the 10 week course students can receive an
accredited certificate from the New School for Social Research (free of
any course fees).

More information can be found here:

The course will be held in English and starts on February 24, 2019.

Weekly lectures take place Thursdays, 9am (GNT-5)/3pm (GMT+1)/5pm (GMT+3).

Registration is free and open to all but places are limited.

It would be fantastic if you could help us to reach as many interested
students as possible by sharing our announcement.

Thank you very much for supporting our project to create new and
emancipative opportunities for education and research for persecuted
academics in Turkey and beyond.

Best wishes,

Anna Baum
