[Fdu] Fw: petition to UoffT's administration

Dear colleagues, friends and supporters of UofT,

Often we feel that we can not much, but we can do at least some small things like this.
I hope you will consider signing a letter that is circulating among U
of T faculty who wish to see the Administration engage more
constructively with UTFA about the current bargaining proposals. The
letter is addressed to the tone and manner of recent communications
with and about UTFA, rather than to the substance of the proposals,
which is subject to an iterative and ongoing process. The letter is
urging serious and respectful engagement through a fair and responsive
negotiating process, and expressing our support for UTFA's role as the
only real collective voice of faculty and librarians at U of T, given
the unicameral nature of our governance structure. Please sign before 
November 30, 2011 when the website closes.
