Dear colleagues,

A reminder that the next event of the list is* TOMORROW * - *Thursday 
OCTOBER 29, 7pm at the Tranzac Club*. Please join us and circulate the 
invitation through your networks.

The theme this month is PRECARITY ON CAMPUS. The night will be 
facilitated by the fabulous *Melanie Newton 
<http://history.utoronto.ca/faculty/newton/> *(History & Director of 
Caribbean Studies). We will enjoy a special intimate presentation, 
'Ayotzinapa.The planted seeds' by internationally celebrated Mexican 
artist *Marcos Ramirez* ERRE <http://marcosramirezerre.com>. We are also 
fortunate to have *Nik Redman* 
<http://mygsa.ca/meeting-event-ideas/meeting-topic-ideas/role-models/nik-redman>(Steelworkers), 
*Nooria Alam* (Students First), and *Erin Black* (CUPE, Unit 3) offering 
brief reflections on these issues as they are lived on the University of 
Toronto campus.

Also - before you come to the Tranzac please consider joining the March 
for Fossil Fuel Divestment, 5:30pm on the front steps of Sid Smith Hall.
