Greetings,
Our meeting next Tuesday, Oct. 8th, will feature a presentation "Flying Through Crystals: A Quantum Trip", by  Ph.D. candidate, Federico Duque-Gomez. Federico has worked in Prof. John Sipe's group doing theoretical research in Quantum Optics and Condensed Matter Physics for the past five years.
Last month we had an excellent turnout leading me to believe there might be a future for our group after all. Let's not dash those hopes.
