Happy new year and hope you all had a wonderful holiday! We are very 
excited to announce that this year our Tuzo Wilson Lecture will be held 
on Feb 27th 7:30-9 pm at the Isabel Bader Theatre, given by Prof. 
Richard Allen from Univeristy of California, Berkeley:

on the subject of Earthquake Early Warning who will may also share some 
of the stories behind MyShake, the popular earthquake Alert system.

While we are still working on the lecture poster and updating the 
related website, I strongly encourage you to hold the date/time to 
consider attending this exciting event. I will communicate more with you 
in the coming days on the details of the lecture.

Wilson's fundamental contribution to Earth Science and plate tectonics
